Ana comes from Argentina and already as a young girl, had an excellent sense of taste and enjoyed cooking. She made her first sweets under the guidance of her Turkish uncle. After Ana completed secondary education, she went on to pursue catering studies in the US. That is where she first saw such confectionery wonders as macarons, eclairs, mousses or toppings, and learned about working with chocolate. These desserts were created by a French chef (now a good friend of Ana) who did not make it easy for her and kept his sweet trade secrets to himself. However, Ana was not easily discouraged; just the opposite – she felt more determined and decided to learn the confectionery craft. This is how she became fascinated with the world of confectionery and developed a great passion that influenced her later life. Ana returned to Argentina where she worked in the kitchen of large hotel chain and restaurants while studying confectionery and chocolate techniques and taking part in many training courses in Mendoza and Buenos Aires. She debuted as a pastry chef in a cake shop in Paraguay. It was also where she discovered she had a teaching gift, so she started teaching about pastry and confectionery and giving training courses. About 8 years ago, invited by Martin Gimenez Castro – the first Polish Top Chef winner, Ana came to Poland. She joined his team in Warsaw at Salto Restaurant located in Hotel Rialto as a pastry chef. She continued to train in Poland under the supervision of Polish and foreign confectioners. However, she missed teaching others and self-fulfillment in this field. And this is where our paths meet! Ana’s huge international experience, her relentless desire to broaden knowledge, her creativity and the sense of taste and style make her a real expert in the sweet world. We are exceptionally pleased to have her in our team since 2021 and we are happy that she can share her knowledge and ideas with you during training sessions at INSPIRATION – our Academy of Skills. Ana has a great command of the Polish language, really enjoys living here, is spirited and enthusiastic individual with an infectious smile ☺. Her greatest weakness is rich dark chocolate with 72% cocoa solids, pistachios and citrus fruit. She is very passionate about Vegan Confectionary and knows all about it . And the way she tells stories about South America is simply incredible!
